Center for Career Education
The Center provides career counseling services to current students and alumni. Students are encouraged to visit the Center as soon as they start their studies at Columbia.
The Center’s services include:
- Career counseling to explore career options
- Help with resume writing and interview skills including Mock Interviews
- Career Fairs
- Providing department specific workshops

Workshops at CS@CU
The Department, in conjunction with the Center for Career Education and corporate partners, conducts career-related workshops for our students. Some workshops are held throughout the year:
- Resume Writing Workshop

- Federal Jobs Workshop
- Mock Interview with a company recruiter
- Alumni Career Panel
MICE Job Postings
The Computer Science Department has its own job listings. Our students can subscribe to job announcements through the Departmental database called MICE.
Company Information Sessions
In addition to the MICE Job listings, the Department conducts company Information Sessions throughout the academic year. These Information Sessions allow students to interact with company representatives directly. Some of the companies that have held Information Sessions in the Department are:

- Intelligent Search Technologies
- Startup companies (Venmo, Knewton, etc)
- US Military
