Victor Soto Martinez - Ph.D. Student

I'm a first year PhD student currently working with Prof. Julia Hirschberg and Erica Cooper on Spoken Keyword Search for Low-resource Languages. In this context we are detecting mistakes on ASR output lattices and performing cross-lingual phrase boundary detection. I have previously worked on a variety of user modeling problems using cell-phone data and detecting emotion from blog posts corpora.
