I am a CS Master's student at Columbia with a concentration
in NLP, and work as a research assistant in the speech lab.
My current research involves studying deception. The goal of
this research is to identify acoustic, prosodic, and lexical features
of speech linked with deceptive behavior. Ultimately, we hope
to develop a framework for automatically detecting deception in
speech. I previously worked on TTS for low resource languages
- scraping text data from blogs, training voices, and evaluating
the naturalness of synthetic voices using crowdsourcing platforms.
