I'm a first year PhD student currently working with Dr. Julia Hirschberg on code switching. Code switching refers to the spontaneous alternation between two languages by a bilingual speaker. We will use electroencephalography (EEG) to measure brain responses to answer questions about how listeners perceive code-switched speech. In general, I'm interested in applying computational methods to neuroimaging in order to inform natural language processing problems.
