I am a first year PhD student in the Spoken Language Processing Group, currently working with Dr. Julia Hirschberg, Dr. Michelle Levine (Barnard) and Dr. Andrew Rosenberg (CUNY) on identifying deceptive speech across cultures. This project aims to identify cues to deceptive speech and develop techniques to automatically detect deception in spoken language. Previously, I studied entrainment in Supreme Court oral arguments. I have also worked on projects in computational biology, specifically classifying tandem repeats in the human genome.
