Info: I have been doing research in statistical methods for natural language and speech processing for a number of years now, working at various labs in Caltech, Carnegie Mellon, Auburn University, AT&T Shannon Labs, IBM T.J. Watson Research Center and Columbia University. I have worked on various topics such as Speech to Speech translation, Text-to-Speech synthesis (TTS), Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), summarization, Question Answering (QA), multimodal intelligent agents, Machine Learning (ML), and information extraction. I graduated from Columbia University with PhD in Computer Science in 2008. I currently work as a Research Staff Member (Research Scientist) at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center on statistical machine translation and speech-to-speech translation. I started at Columbia University in the fall of 2002 working for Prof. Julia Hirschberg. I graduated from Bates College with B.S (Honors) in May of 2002 in Math and Physics. |
