Curriculum Vitae
Welcome! I am a computer scientist at Adobe, working on mobile computational photography. Previously, I worked in London as a software engineer at a startup Citymapper, building its iOS transit/navigation app to help users get from A to B.

I received my PhD in Computer Science at Columbia University. My research interests include human-computer interaction, comptuer vision, and machine learning. I completed my dissertation in spatial user interfaces for 2D/3D environments, under the direction of Prof. Steven Feiner at the Computer Graphics and User Interfaces Lab. I have also worked on problems in the areas of computer vision and computational photography (deblurring, refocusing, tracking, and depth estimation), with Prof. Shree Nayar at the Computer Vision Lab. Before PhD, I had a background in dynamic systems and control, and spent a number of years working at the MathWorks, the maker of mathematical computing software MATLAB and Simulink.

I am curious about the world and its people. Since young ages, I have had the opportunities to live in many locations, and interacted with people from different parts of the world at a deeper level. I also travel, learn to see the world through photography. I am passionate about designing and building things—software, hardware, and the combination of them. In many cases, I combine my passions and curiosity into my work.
