Research

System-Level Design

I lead Columbia's System-Level Design (SLD) Group, which develops architectures, methodologies, and tools for complex heterogeneous computing systems. My current research focuses on agile design of system-on-chip platforms, hardware acceleration of AI workloads, agentic computer-aided design, and open-source hardware. We have developed ESP, the open-source heterogeneous system-on-chip platform.
