| ABOUT US | |
| We are a research lab in the Vision and Graphics Center of Columbia University's Computer Science Department. Our goal is to investigate new ideas, methods, and techniques for computer graphics. Our work focuses on fundamental results, and explores the impact of these results across the full domain of graphics and scientific-computing. Our most active research thrusts are in rendering/vision and animation/simulation. We collaborate with other CVGC members as well as graphics researchers across academia and industry. Since our inception in 2002 we have been actively involved in interdisciplinary Columbia groups including botany, biomedical engineering, and computer vision. We maintain ddg.cs.columbia.edu, which tracks developments in the nascent field of Discrete Differential Geometry. |
