About Me


I'm a Ph.D. student in the Computer Science department at Columbia University.
My advisor is Prof. Gail Kaiser and I'm associated with the Programming Systems Lab.

My area of research is Software Engineering, Privacy, and Recommender Systems.

I'm originally from Mumbai, India.
I received my B.E. in Computer Engineering from Sardar Patel College of Engineering, Mumbai University in 2006.
This was followed by an M.S. in Computer Science from Columbia University in 2008.

During the summer of 2013, I'm visiting Prof. Walid Maalej at the MOBIS group in the University of Hamburg).
We are collaborating on a project to understand privacy requirements in software engineering.
