I am a Ph.D. student in the Theory Group in the Computer Science department at Columbia University, where I am fortunate to be co-advised by Daniel Hsu and Allison Bishop.

I received my joint B.A. and M.A. in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania, where I was also Chair of the Penn Undergraduate Math Society

I am interested in algorithms and statistical learning theory. I am currently studying the geometry and dynamics of optimization algorithms, provable generalization guarantees, provable algorithms for nonconvex optimization, and contextual bandits.
