The prerequisite for this course is data structures (3137 or 3139). Students should know how to program in Java or in LISP. Programming assignments for this course must be done in Java (Sun Java v1.4.x) or in LISP (Allegro Common Lisp). Neither programming language will be covered in the course. It is helpful if the student has taken software engineering (3156), but it is not required. |
