This is an informal seminar primarily attended by graduate students, but faculty and undergraduates are welcome! At our meetings we present and discuss recent research articles on theoretical and applied aspects of coding  theory.  Here are some examples of topics that we are looking at:

Network Coding and LDPC codes
Applications of coding to data networks and storage system (e.g. using coding to improve throughput, anonymity, security)
Design and analysis of new codes

We welcome suggestions for papers, volunteers and speakers!
