My name is Yiru Chen (陈一茹 in Chinese). I am a PhD student in the Computer Science Department at Columbia University advised by Prof. Eugene Wu. My research interests are database system, human data interaction, visualization, and machine learning. Currently, I am working on Precision Interfaces, a semi-automatic system to generate task-specific data analytics interfaces.
Prior to CMU, I received my bachelor's degree in Computer Science (with SUMMA CUM LAUDE) and Economics at Peking University in 2018, advised by Prof. Bin Cui.
