Jan 21, 2000: DLI2 Meeting - Presentation of the Text Summarization Module
The Text Summarization module takes as input a patient record and a set of medical articles. The articles are known to be matching globally with the patient record. It generates a summary for the different articles containing results that are important for the patient.
The generation of a summary is done in several phases. We are currently working on the initial phase, the Content Planning. It consists of selecting the information that we want to include in the summmary.
