I am a PhD student in the Computer Science Department of Columbia University under Dr. Owen Rambow as the primary advisor and Prof. Kathleen McKeown as the departmental adviser. I work at the Center for Computational Learning Systems as a Research Assistant. My research has been published at various top-tier international venues such as WWW, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, COLING, IJCNLP, ECAI, and LREC.
During the PhD program, apart from the doctoral research, I was also fortunate to work on various exciting research projects during industrial internships: Google (Summer 2014), IBM Watson (Summer 2013), Avaya Labs (Summer 2012) and Siemens Corporate Research (Summer 2011).
I obtained my Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Columbia University in Fall 2009. Before coming to Columbia I worked as an Application Software Engineer with TATA Consultancy Services Ltd. for 4 years. I obtained my Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from College of Engineering, Chengannur under the Cochin University of Science and Technology in May 2004.
