I am a PhD student in the Computer Science Department of Columbia University, co-advised by Dr. Owen Rambow as the primary advisor, and Dr. Mona Diab as the secondary advisor. Prof. Kathleen McKeown is my departmental adviser. I work at the Center for Computational Learning Systems as a Research Assistant. My research has been published at various top-tier international venues such as WWW, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, COLING, IJCNLP, ECAI, and LREC.
During the PhD program, apart from the doctoral research, I was also fortunate to work on various exciting research projects during industrial internships at Google (Summer 2014), IBM Watson (Summer 2013), Avaya Labs (Summer 2012) and Siemens Corporate Research (Summer 2011).
I obtained my Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Columbia University in Fall 2009. Before coming to Columbia I worked as an Application Software Engineer with TATA Consultancy Services Ltd. for 4 years. I obtained my Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from College of Engineering, Chengannur under the Cochin University of Science and Technology in May 2004.
