• [2/15] ACM SIGMETRICS would like to announce (and encourage you to submit to) two exciting
  new events at this year's SIGMETRICS conference:
  • HotMetrics 2008: The First Workshop on Hot Topics in Measurement & Modeling of
    Computer Systems.
  • Demo Competition: Submitted demonstrations will be evaluated by a panel of judges and an
    award will be given to the best demonstration. In addition, the best student-led demonstration
    will receive a cash prize.
• [2/15] In addition to these new events there will be two other workshops co-located with Sigmetrics:
  • MAMA 2008: The Tenth Workshop on MAthematical performance Modeling and Analysis.
  • FeBid 2008: Third International Workshop on Feedback Control Implementation and Design
    in Computing Systems and Networks.
