I grew up in Fair Lawn, NJ.
I graduated Fair Lawn High School in 1989.
After high school, I was an undergraduate at Princeton University, and I graduated with a BSE in Electrical Engineering in 1993.
From August of that year until March of 1997, I worked at Microsoft in Redmond, Washington as part of the Microsoft Excel development team.
Starting in September of 1997, I spent 5 1/2 years as a graduate student in the Department of Computer Science at Columbia University. During this time, I was a member of the Columbia's Natural Language Procssing group. I received my MS degree here in May of 1999 and my Ph.D. in February of 2003.
I have recently accepted a position at Cooper Union where I will be an Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering starting in the Fall of 2003. You can also check out my Cooper Union home page.
