My name is Rui Gu. I'm a M.S. student of computer science graduating May, 2017.
I was once a Ph.D. student at Columbia University.
My research interests lie on software reliability and distributed systems. I was advised by Prof. Junfeng Yang.
Before joining Columbia, I spent 1.5 years at Univeristy of Wisconsin - Madison under the supervision of Prof. Shan Lu. My research at that time was making tools to help developers better understanding, detecting and diagnosing concurrency and performance related bugs. It was fun.
