Abstract:
I plan to talk about a recent evaluation of OntoStruct (a tool for automatic extraction of ontological information) on a corpus of bio-informatics articles focusing on yeast protein interactions. I will then discuss a new framework for discovering general and particular domain knowledge from text sources using an automatically constructed ontological model of the domain.
