Education
- Ph.D. student in Computer Science, Columbia University - Internet Real-Time Lab (IRT)
- M.S. in Computer Science, Columbia University, 2009
- B.S. in Computer Science, KAIST, South Korea, 2007, Magna Cum Laude
Research Interest
- Network management, diagnostics and analysis
- Voice over IP
- Cloud computing
Current research
- DYSWIS - Distributed Network Fault Detection and Diagnosis System.
DYSWIS (Do You See What I See) is a peer-to-peer(P2P) network diagnosis system for end users. The nodes in this system are distributed by DHT and collaborate with each other by active probing to diagnose various network faults
I have implemented DYSWIS in Java as a network diagnosis framework using JESS rule engine, OSGi Java-based dynamic module system, and Kademlia DHT.
