The on-line SQL system you are now using is based on Sybase SQL server. To run a SQL query, simply type in the SQL code in the box and then click the "run SQL" button. You are given the permission to read all the user tables in the database and create views based on those tables. You are not allowed to create tables yourself or update the contents of the existing tables.
For the sake of privacy, all the views you created will be deleted automatically. So make sure to include your view definitions every time you want to use them. You don't need to add terminators like "go", ";" in your queries.
Some useful information:
will give you all the information of the table---name and type of attributes, indexes on the table, etc. If you omit [table_name], the system will show you all the user tables in the database. (Eg. sp_help Attend)
