CS1004: Final info for Section 1
[ Announcements | Course Info | Schedule & Homeworks | Resources | Webboard | Grades ]

The final exam will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 9am-12noon; room location to be determined and emailed to all (we'll do a split like we did on the midterm).  It is open-book, open-notes, but no electronic devices will be permitted. It will cover both theory and basics of programming. In general, we'll cover the materials listed below under the appropriate section; this list resembles the syllabus closely, but is a bit more specific for certain chapters.  Note that material covered on slides or in lecture is fair game even if not mentioned here.

Subsections are occasionally denoted as some material has been skipped; if a chapter or a section is specified without the additional subsection, it implies that entire chapter or section.  Topics in italics will be covered factually; for those, you should understand what the book says, but I'm not going to ask you to solve new problems based on the knowledge you gained.
