Can I take both Advanced Programming and Software Engineering for credit?

It depends. If you have taken Software Engineering in the Fall of 2001, there is sufficient overlap that you should not take Advanced Programming. Otherwise, contact the instructor with a list of topics you covered in Software Engineering and a decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
