If you are already familiar with how to enter a web-address using your telephone keypad, you may enter a web-address at any time. You are not required to and should not enter HTTP colon slash slash. The keypad uses each key button to represent several characters. Each key button represents the characters written on its face except zero, one, star, and pound sign. For example, nine represents itself and WXYZ. To key in nine itself, press nine and zero and zero. The first zero indicates that you want to enter nine, which is the first character in the list of characters that nine represents. The second zero indicates that you want to enter a lower case character. To indicate that you want to enter a upper case character, press one. So for example, to key in upper-case W, press nine and one and one. The first one indicates that you want to enter the second character in the list of characters that nine represents. The third one indicates that you want the upper-case letter. Therefore, to key in lowercase W, press nine and one and zero. And so on. We use zero to represent itself. To key in zero, press zero and zero. We use one to represent one. To key in one, press one and zero and zero. We use star to represent itself, dot, slash, tilde, and colon. To key in star itself, press star and zero. To key in dot, press star and one. To key in slash, press star and two. To key in tilde, press, star and three. To key in colon, press star and four. To key in the erase character, press star and five. To key in pound sign, press pound and zero. We also support shortcuts. To key in WWW, press nine, nine, and nine.
