- There is still a memory allocation (malloc) problem at the Columbia end of the project. They are now using Henning's malloc code. The next step is for the Columbia team to use a new code composer package with a different compiler, integrator and assembler that Mike has forwarded to Gautam that was not formerly available. - Functional 2.2 ephone developer's board has been fabricated by Mike and is being worked-on before transfer to Columbia for them to complete the debugging of their stack software. Problem is with the board's functions stopping after a short time. Believed to be a software problem. Mike will transfer Columbia/Gautam's TI emulator program to this functional board to try to diagnose and get around this problem. - Debugging of the stack software at Columbia is in progress. Several bugs have been found and are being corrected. Completion of debugging awaits an OK functional 2.2 developer's board. A revised PM schedule is being prepared and we are still planning to have several new 2.2 ephones available by the end of November for the Bakeoff.
