I'm working on the Virtual Active Network (VAN) project which addresses the challenge of designing an architectural framework for an open and programmable virtual network infrastructure (aka Active Networks) in which new network services can be dynamically injected and programmed on the fly to meet the keen and diverse demand of the myriad applications today that TCP/IP is having trouble to keep oup with.
