Welcome to my webpage!

My name is Gabriela Felicia Cretu-Ciocarlie. I was a PhD student in the Intrusion Detection Systems Lab conducted by Prof. Salvatore Stolfo, at Columbia University. In September 2009, I successfully defended my Ph.D. thesis. Currently, I am a Computer Scientist at SRI International.

BIO
My home town is a very nice ski resort in Romania, called Sinaia. I graduated from Mihail Cantacuzino Highschool in Sinaia in 1998. That year I moved to Bucharest where I attended the Politechnic University of Bucharest, School of Automatic Control and Computers from where I graduated in 2003. Since then I did graduate studies at University of California, at Santa Barbara and in Fall 2004 I became a PhD student at Columbia University. In September 2009, I successfully defended my PhD thesis.
