I am very interested in the fundamentals of computation.
I worked with Prof. Ken Steiglitz of the Computer Science Department on his soliton computation research. We studied numerical simulations of solitons in the Manakov system. We looked at the associativity of soliton collisions. We also did some interesting work with breathers.
