  1. Our NIPS paper Learning a Distance Metric from a Network was accepted. This paper is by Blake Shaw, me, and Tony Jebara. Stay tuned for a preprint.

  2. I successfully defended my thesis on July 29th, 2011.

About Me

I am a postdoctoral researcher at LINQS, the statistical relational learning group led by Lise Getoor at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Previously, I was at Department of Computer Science at Columbia University, where my advisors were Tony Jebara and Ansaf Salleb-Aouissi. I was a member of the Machine Learning Laboratory and the Center for Computational Learning Systems.


Prior to my Ph.D. program, I earned a Master of Science degree from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science in computer science and a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy at Brandeis University.
