ATLAS/ti (PC)
ATLAS/ti offers support to the researcher - without wresting control
over the intellectual process - facilitating many of the activities
involved in text analysis and interpretation, particularly selecting,
coding, annotating, and comparing noteworthy segments. This leads to
actual theory building, the creative conceptualization phase. ATLAS/ti
assists you in all of these analytical and synthetical tasks and
provides a comprehensive overview of your work; as well as rapid
search, retrieval, and browsing functions of all text selections
and notes relevant to one idea.

Layers (Rochester thesis)
LAYERS is a experimental project on how
to cast a fairly large piece of
linguistics work into hypertext form
on the Web, taking advantage of various
features of the format, (as opposed to
just placing
...
around a
text originally designed for paper
publication). Some of its features are
pop-up references, maps,
data-analysis distinction, individual
feedback from each page, support
for both graphic and non-graphic
browsers (e.g. Lynx).
