Merging Models from Different Views

• Regularized set intersection to integrate views:

  • initialize composite model to the entire workspace
  • acquire a new solid model
  • update the composite model by set intersection with new model
    

• Assumption:

  • the set described by each model must be a superset of the actual imaged object
