The element describes the conference, suitable for an directory listing. The element contains the subject of the conference. The element contains additional, longer descriptions of the conference. The elements contain a list of comma-separated keywords that can be used by search engines to better classify the conference.
The element provides the list of URI that can access the conference. The elements contains a set of child elements, each containing one URI in the element and associated optional URI-specific additional information that can be used to access this conference. the element provides a textual description meant for human consumption. Each element SHOULD contain a element that describes what happens when accessing the URI. Currently, we define and . Accessing a URI with purpose will join the party into the conference; accessing a URI with purpose will commence streaming the conference, but not allow active participation. Examples of suitable URI schemes include sip and sips [7], h323 [17], and tel []. The rtsp [] URI is suitable for streaming. The element describes auxiliary services available for the conference. Like , this element collects a set of child elements, each containing the URI to be used in order to access different services available for the particular conference. The value of the URI is included in the child element and its description MAY be included in the sub-element. The purpose of the URI SHOULD be included in the child element. The currently defined values to be used with the are: Indicates the web page containing the additional information about the conference. Indicates the link at which the recorded conference media content can be retrieved. Indicates the URI to which the subscription to the conference event package needs to be performed. (TBD: Shouldn't this be the conference URI itself?) Additional purposes may be registered with IANA as described in .
The optional element specifies the maximum number of users allowed for the conference, possibly for each role. It consists of any number of elements, each qualified with a "role" attribute to identify maximum counts for different participant roles. Descriptions SHOULD at least provide an entry with a "role" attribute with value "any", indicating the total count across all roles. (TBD: there are no roles defined and any is not a reserved token.)
The element contains information about the media streams and their types that are available to the participants in the conference. The entries in the container are a list of elements, each identifying one medium.
