Aleksandar Timcenko received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a M.S. in Control Science from Belgrade University, Yugoslavia, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Columbia University, New York, with a dissertation on robot motion planning in the presence of uncertainty. He currently works at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York on building a distributed knowledge-based system for applications in medicine. His professional interests include modeling of reasoning processes in the presence of uncertainty and aspects of distributed intelligent systems.
