The Microsoft Research Laboratory is a lab of 18 computers donated by Microsoft and Sun to Columbia University's Computer Science Department.
4 machines are Pentium 4's at 3.0 GHz with 1GB of memory. 14 machines are AMD Opteron at 2.2 GHz with 1GB of Memory. They are currently running Windows 7.
The CLIC/MRL lab (CSB 486) is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for all students with a valid computer science account.
