What is the focus of the M.S. in
Computer Science program? The M.S. program seeks to help you develop broad-based
knowledge of the core of computer science as well as in-depth understanding of
specific subfields.

How much will the M.S. tuition cost? As of Fall 2007, tuition was $1,184 per
graduate credit. A minimum of 30 graduate credits are required for the M.S.

What opportunities are there to
participate in research during the M.S. program? As part of the M.S. program, student can enroll in project/research
courses such as E6901 with selected faculty. Also, there is a M.S. thesis option that
allows the student to complete a more indepth research project with a CS
faculty member, resulting in a written research thesis. M.S. students are also
encouraged to participate in talks, seminars, and research group meetings
within the department.
