About Me:

 

I defended my PhD thesis in Jan. 2016. Afterwards, I joined Google [X], working on Self-Driving Car project.

 

I've started my PhD since Jan. 2013, advised by Prof. Peter K. Allen. I also collaborate with Prof. Eitan Grinspun, Prof. Shih-Fu Chang, and Prof. Peter Belhumeur. My research interests include computer vision, machine learning, and robotics. My thesis is about recognition and manipulation of 3D deformable objects.

 

I interned at Google Research in summer 2015, working on large-scale deep learning, hosted by Mei Han. I also interned at Google Seattle in summer 2014, worked with Li Zhang and Steve Seitz. I was a R&D engineer in vision technology group at Restoration Robotics, Inc. in California. My M.S. degree was from Clemson University, advised by Prof. Stan Birchfield.
